Cobra administration

COBRA administration is a complex Federal law and the responsibility of the EMPLOYER. Why not outsource that responsibility to a third party administrator specializing in all aspects of the law? If you are subject to this law, you must be 100% in compliance.

Who must comply? Companies that have 20 or more employees who work 50% of all typical business days during the preceding calendar year must be in compliance with COBRA laws. The only exception is the Federal government who has its own rules regarding continuation coverage and church plans (within the meaning of Section 414e of the IRS code).
